A message from the editor,
Hello to everyone who is currently reading this. Unfortunately our esteemed President is unable to deliver his weekly information to you due to unforeseen events. However, from what he has communicated to me, there were many interesting items he wanted to report about, such as the Gold Coast conference, the Board Meeting and the International Women’s Day breakfast. These items together with numerous photographs will be included in next week’s bulletin.
I would like to take this opportunity to heartily thank those of you who send items to be included in the Bulletin. It is a big task to produce an informative magazine every week (having previously been an editor for some seven odd years, I’m well aware of the many hours needed for the task) and without the assistance of members, the production would take even longer. Although many of you have assisted with articles for the Bulletin, the following Rotarians keep-on-keeping-on week after week, month after month! I particularly thank you profusely!
Rodney Johnstone - consistently emails appropriate messages he receives in his role as secretary; emails any articles he knows would be of relevance and interest;
Bob Newman - sources and then emails weekly guest speakers; Kevin Field - emails the weekly attendance;
Maria Silber - keeps the Club up-to-date (often with photographs) within her capacity as New Generations’ chairperson;
Graeme Thompson - provides information in his role as Foundation chairperson.
By the way, Wal McCulloch has sent some information which will hopefully be included in next week’s bulletin. I’m having trouble downloading it, as it’s on a PDF file and I require more time to complete the task. So everyone, LOOK OUT for next week’s edition, it promises to be a good one!
Take care, Di McGrath
